Objectives

The aim of this training course is to provide a basic understanding of the Machinery Regulation and the fundamental 6-step process for CE marking. It covers the key differences between the Machinery Regulation and the Machinery Directive, the reasons for switching from a directive to a regulation, and an overview of the 6-step process. After acquiring the knowledge provided in the “Introduction to the Machinery Regulation” course and completing the exercises, delegates will be familiar with the regulation.

This training course is aimed particularly at manufacturers, importers, integrators, distributors and end users of machinery, who must be informed about the Machinery Regulation:

Note

The course is available in person as well as live online with a training manager. Delegates must attend at a specific time on specific dates. To participate in the online training you will need a laptop with a webcam and Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. This course provides an ideal introduction to the Machinery Regulation, as well as an overview of the key differences in comparison with the Machinery Directive. For those delegates who have already completed training on CE marking, here you will find out more about the Machinery Regulation. For those wishing to complete further training on CE marking, this course can be helpful for understanding the “Basics of CE Marking” course, which is a prerequisite for “CECE – Certified expert for CE marking” certification.
