Safety Lifecycle Training- IEC 61508 / 61511

Implementing safety functions and interlocks over the safety lifecycle has been a concern for project managers, design engineers and plant personnel alike. IEC 61508 / IEC 61511 now provides a defined lifecycle approach to ensuring that all safety related functions are specified, designed, installed and commissioned in a structured manner with full traceability throughout.

This course willl cover not only the "what to do", but also the common pit falls of possible over-specification and over-engineering.

ATEX Training

"The employer must provide those working in places where explosive atmospheres may occure with sufficient and appropriate training" - ATEX Directive 99/92/EC. This course covers all aspects that engineers, electricians and maintenance face on a day to day basis and also focuses on the practical implications of the directive when installing, maintaining and retrofitting new and old equipment. It also highlights the impact of hazardous zones on tools and equipment, work procedures and competence requirements.
