Pilz UK's Courses for September 2016

We're holding 4 machinery safety training courses this September.

Pilz UK has got four courses running this September.

Pilz UK is holding a series of one day machinery safety courses in September. The course will cover the following topics; Basic Machinery Safety, Safety Design including ISO 13849-1/EN 62061, Electrical Machine Safety in Industrial Installations and Risk Assessment Workshop.

Our current range of machinery safety courses have evolved from over 20 years of in-house expertise not only in training, but also through practical application of standards by Pilz engineers and consultants. Some examples of application of standards by Pilz engineers and consultants include designing safety circuits, conducting PUWER inspections, carrying out risk assessments and advising manufacturing companies on how to best comply with UK machinery safety regulations and standards.

The courses therefore offer practical insights and advice in addition to covering the essentials of current legislation. Pilz trainers are highly qualified to address individual concerns throughout the scheduled courses, although if a more customised approach is desired, courses can be tailored to meet specific company needs and are available upon request.

The series kicks off on Monday 26th of September with the Basic Machinery Safety Course, which gives delegates a basic understanding of machinery safety requirements in industry, great for those beginning to build their knowledge in machinery safety.

On Tuesday 27th September the Safety Design inc. ISO 13849 -1/EN 62061 course commences. It enables delegates to develop a greater understanding of the standards and the approach required when specifying, designing and validating a machine’s safety control system, ideal for automation, electrical and project engineers.

In conjunction with this course we are offering the Safety Calculator PAScal for a special price of £175 including software licence.
The third course of the series is Electrical Machine Safety in Industrial Installations is on 28th September. This course has been put together to introduce delegates to the fundamentals of electrical safety on machinery and other installations, it also highlights the requirements of the IEC 60204 standard. This course is suited for machine designers, electrical engineers and safety engineers.

Finally on the 29th September the new Risk Assessment Workshop course is running, which aims to equip delegates with the knowledge and skills to carry out risk assessments of machinery in accordance with EN ISO 12100. The target group for this course includes design and technical engineering managers, safety officers, technical purchasers and control system design engineers

Companies sending staff on training courses gain from the improved knowledge of their personnel and the increased overall competence of the company. Furthermore, providing staff with the right knowledge and skills enables operational efficiency to be raised while also helping to ensure compliance with current safety legislation and regulations. All of these courses are delivered by our experienced trainers and cost £250 per person. The courses are perfect if you’re looking at refreshing your knowledge or developing your skills further.
