Pilz Automation Technology offers machine and process automation and safety products, consultancy, engineering and training to ensure the safety of personnel and plant.   

Pilz’s wide industrial experience, in-house expertise and breadth of product and service offerings enable their engineers to deliver harmonised and complete solutions that optimise both productivity and safety, either working independently or alongside a client’s team.

Products include safety relays; configurable safety controllers; programmable safety systems; safety sensors; operator and visualisation systems; networks; system and application software; drive technology; integrated standard and safety automation systems.  

Consultancy includes risk assessment; safety concept; safety validation; CE marking; Pre-delivery inspection; PUWER and plant assessment; DAkkS accredited inspection of safeguards.  

IEC 61508 certified Engineering includes control system design; panel building; installation; commissioning.

The Pilz training programme, which includes City & Guilds certified courses, has taken a leading role for 20 years in educating the market with regard to current machine safety legislation.
