More Opportunities to Get Machinery Safety-Certified

A majority of our training courses are certified by acknowledged test organisations - and we've just added another four to the list!

The following four training courses are new additions to our list of CPD-accredited curricula:

• CECE - Certified Expert in CE Marking (13.5 hours CPD)
• CEFS - Certified Expert in Functional Safety (14.5 hours CPD)
• Safety Design and Verification (7.45 hours CPD)
• Introduction to Machinery Safety (7.15 hours of CPD)

Almost 100% of the training courses scheduled to run from our purpose-built training facility in Corby are now CPD-accredited - these include Certified Machinery Safety Expert (CMSE®) (27 hours of CPD), City & Guilds Assured 4 Day Machinery Safety Course (28 hours of CPD) and Fundamentals of Machinery Safety (14 hours of CPD.)

Continuing Professional Development - usually abbreviated to CPD - is the intentional maintenance and development of the knowledge and skills needed to perform in a professional context. CPD hours (or points) are a way of measuring time and quality of learning. Points can be collected in a personal portfolio allowing participants to track their professional development and progression. CPD-accredited training can assist participants in honing their current skills, developing them to a new level or it could mean learning entirely new ones.

To achieve the CPD accreditation Pilz Automation has undergone a rigorous assessment process that focuses on the development and delivery of our training including our educational authority, how we collect and utilise delegate feedback and ensure the content is kept up to date.
