At the Innotrans trade fair (24-27 September 2024), the automation company Pilz will be presenting innovative control solutions for the digital railway. The highlight is the new, safe and modular railway control system PSSrail, which Pilz is introducing for the first time in Berlin. System suppliers and integrators now have a platform for implementing their digitisation projects quickly, in a way that's tailored to their needs. As such Pilz is advancing the digitisation of rail transport. Visitors can experience the configuration and application options for the railway control system at various demonstrations. Pilz is exhibiting in Hall 27, Stand 550.

At Innotrans 2024, in Hall 27, Stand 550, Pilz will be presenting a new railway control system PSSrail - Experience the innovative digitisation solution live
Pilz solutions for the digital railway include among others the deployment of the control system PSSrail as an Object Controller, digital remote access to interlockings, control and monitoring of level crossings or electrical, locally operated points. The control system is compatible with the latest EULYNX standard, thus paving the way for the implementation of digitisation projects in railway infrastructure.
Live demo for Object Controller
To represent the wide-ranging application areas of the new railway control system, at Innotrans Pilz will be demonstrating its deployment as an Object Controller: the Pilz controller translates digital control commands from the interlockings into signals for trackside components. On its stand Pilz will be showing how control technology interacts with signalling technology from Pilz's partner, Pintsch.
Configure digitisation solutions yourself
The new railway control system PSSrail consists not only of hardware but also of a software suite for programming or configuration of user programs. Railway-certified function blocks are stored in a program library, enabling simple, faster implementation. With PSSrail, system suppliers and integrators significantly reduce the time and technical effort it takes to implement digitisation projects. At Innotrans, visitors to the Pilz stand can test the different options for configuring individual solutions at a software demo.
