“Mensch und Automation”: Pilz launches digital magazine - Stories from the world of safe automation – now also online!

User stories, video interviews and background information on trends in safe automation: With “Mensch und Automation digital”, the automation company Pilz is now also providing expert knowledge on the Safety and Security of plant and machinery online. The magazine is available online at www.pilz-magazine.com. It supplements the existing printed version of the Pilz customer magazine.

The current issue 2/23 of the Pilz customer magazine “Mensch und Automation” is special in two respects: Firstly, as the anniversary issue to mark Pilz’s 75th anniversary, thematically it focuses on the automation company’s key milestones. Secondly, for the first time the content is available online in the form of a digital magazine – and is expanded to include important digital added value: videos, animations, infographics and interactive elements will make the world of safe automation even clearer and help provide a better understanding of the background issues.

More than just a digital reproduction
Compared with the print version, interested parties can read expert interviews in full online and obtain further background information on key trends in Safety and Security or the normative requirements of machinery safety, and access contacts or additional information at the click of a mouse.
The automation company has been publishing its own customer magazine since 1995. “Our aim with “Mensch und Automation” is to share knowledge, tell stories and report on industry trends. Over the years, “Mensch und Automation” has established itself as the magazine for safe automation. With digital content, we now offer readers more added value”, says Horst-Dietrich Kraus, Vice President Marketing and Communications at Pilz GmbH & Co. KG, introducing the concept.

First issue and archive now online
The digital version supplements the company’s printed customer magazine and appears in parallel with the printed version three times a year, in German and English.
The current issue, plus contributions from the last two years, are available online at www.pilz-magazine.com or via the Pilz website under “News”. Readers can also register for the Pilz Newsletter there, to receive regular information via new articles.
