Objectives

This advanced level training will introduce to you the processes and standards that are important in the design and evaluation of safety-relevant control systems. This training course addresses how the safety-related control systems standards ISO 13849-1 (AS/NZS 4024.1503) and IEC 62061 (AS/NZS 62061) are applied in automation and equipment design.

Tthe content of this course covers the latest versions of the international standards - IEC 62061:2021 and the soon to be released 2023 edition of ISO 13849-1.
