Adam Hallinan

Adam Hallinan

National Training Manager

Adam has been working at Pilz for more than 20 years in a variety of roles including Sales and Applications Engineer and Technical Support Manager. In his current role as National Training Manager, he is responsible for coordinating and delivering training courses in machinery safety and automation.
Adam is also responsible for ensuring the Pilz teams in Australia and New Zealand have up-to-date knowledge on the latest standards, legislation and Pilz products. Although training is his main focus, Adam is also involved in conducting risk assessments and engineering services.
Adam has a Bachelor of Engineering, specialising in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Swinburne University and in 2022 completed his Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. He is also a CMSE® Certified Machinery Safety Expert (TÜV Nord) and CEFS Certified Expert in Functional Safety (TÜV Nord - Pilz).

Craig Imrie

Craig Imrie

Senior Safety Consultant

Craig is an experienced safety automation expert and enjoys working with customers across their entire machine safety lifecycle. He has specialist skills in conducting risk assessments, safety relay system development, system verification and validation. Craig also presents the Pilz machine safety training courses and is passionate about helping customers address their safety automation challenges.
Craig has a Bachelor of Mechatronics/Software Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology and is a Certified Machinery Safety Expert – CMSE® from TÜV Nord and CEFS Certified Expert in Functional Safety (TÜV Nord - Pilz). He also represents Austmine as a Standards Australia Committee Member for SF-41, the committee responsible for the AS/NZS 4024 Safety of Machinery standards.

Senior Safety Consultant

Dean has 10 years of working experience in the field of Industrial Automation particularly in Manufacturing and Mining industries. He has extensive knowledge and technical skills related to safety systems, robotics and control systems.
Dean is CMSE® - Certified Machinery Safety Expert (TÜV Nord) with expertise and background in Electrical Engineering. He also has Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician with Tafe NSW and Electrical Contractors License with NSW Fair Trading. Dean is confident and enjoys providing high quality products and safety related advice to customers.

Payal Patel

Payal Patel

Safety Services Engineer

With more than eight years industry experience, Payal has found her passion for delivering high quality safety services to customers. She enjoys working with customers to help them implement their safety and operational goals. Payal has specialist knowledge relating to risk assessments, technical reporting, safety validations and reviews across a wide variety of industries, and is the internal the expert on CE Marking for the Australian and New Zealand teams.
Payal has a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from India and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from RMIT University. She is also a CMSE® - Certified Machinery Safety Expert (TÜV Nord) and CEFS Certified Expert in Functional Safety (TÜV Nord - Pilz).

Geoff is an Industrial Electrician with over 30 years experience in a variety of industries across the country, ranging from mining to manufacturing.
Geoff is a CMSE® - Certified Machinery Safety Expert (TÜV Nord) and TÜV Rheinland Certified Machinery Functional Safety Engineer.

Technical Support Manager

Eric has been working in the industrial automation industry for more than 20 years and brings deep knowledge and experience to his role as Technical Support Manager at Pilz. He enjoys working with clients and delivers excellent product and application support to customers in a broad range of industries. With specialist skills in CAD software, material handling process, customer relationship management, project management and electrical design, Eric is passionate about plant and machinery safety.
Eric is a CMSE® - Certified Machinery Safety Expert (TÜV Nord), CEFS Certified Expert in Functional Safety (TÜV Nord - Pilz), TÜV Rheinland Certified Machinery Functional Safety Engineer and also has an Engineering Council Part 1 (Electrical and Electronics Engineering).

Wayne is an experienced electrical and electronics engineer with a career that spans 34 years. Throughout this time, Wayne has worked in a wide variety of industries including; aviation, print engineering, oil and gas, mining, manufacturing and fast moving consumer goods. His expert skills in risk assessments, training, and safety design reviews helps to ensure the safety of customers’ plants and machines. Wayne has specialist expertise with control and drive systems, electrical installations and a range of safety automation technologies.
Wayne is a qualified Electrical/Mechanical and Electronics Engineer. He is also a CMSE® - Certified Machinery Safety Expert (TÜV Nord) and CEFS Certified Expert in Functional Safety (TÜV Nord - Pilz), and a TÜV Rheinland Certified Functional Safety Engineer.

With more than 16 years’ experience in the automation industry, Joaquin is a multi-skilled mechatronic and robotic engineer. He enjoys delivering high quality projects and services to customers in a variety of industries. As a machinery safety and automation expert, Joaquin works with customers to help them address their daily operational and compliance challenges.
Joaquin has an Engineering degree specialising in Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation. He is also a CMSE® - Certified Machinery Safety Expert (TÜV Nord) and CEFS Certified Expert in Functional Safety (TÜV Nord - Pilz) and a has a Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Joaquin is a member of the Project Management Institute’s Melbourne Chapter.
