The workshop equips the participants with the knowledge and skills to carry out risk assessments of machinery in accordance with AS/NZ 4024.1-2019 Safety of machinery. The risk assessment is necessary and a fundamental aspect of machinery safety, as well as the first step towards complying with the WHS regulations and standards. This workshop guides you through the risk assessment process for machinery with the aid of pictures and videos - it's always interactive and practically based. The objective is to identify hazards and perform risk evaluations (degree of harm and probability of occurrence). This training also covers how to apply appropriate risk reduction measures and determine the residual risk.
