IP67 modules

For cabinet-free installation with IP67

IP67 modules

With the PDP67 modules Pilz offers solutions for decentralised applications directly in the field. Thanks to protection type IP67 the modules are resistant to dirt and water. The decentralised modules reduce installation and wiring requirements. They save time, money and space in the control cabinet.

Thanks to their integration in dirt and water-repellent IP67 housings, the PDP67 modules can also be used for applications with high demands on hygiene.

You’ll find the required cable, connector and adapter accessories on the following page under Connection technology

Simple installation of IP67 modules – Your benefits

  • Less planning and design work, thanks to simple installation
  • No control cabinet necessary
  • Enables a modular machine concept
  • Can be used up to protection type IP67
  • One cable for communication and supply

Features of IP67 modules

Features of IP67 modules
  • Individual sensors can be diagnosed on the modules
  • Just one cable for communication and supply, plug and play via M12 plug-in connector
  • Decentralised passive junction PDP67 enables connection to any evaluation device
  • Cascadable using a T-junction and Y-junction
  • Decentralised input module PSS67 is simpler than a fieldbus system (no bus terminating resistor, no separate address)
  • With the base unit PSS67, communication takes place via a safe data link
  • Simple configuration of the input module PP67 using the proven PNOZmulti configurator

Decentralised and passive – decentralised safety

The passive junction PDP67 F 4 code allows the connection of up to four PSENslock or PSENini sensors. In addition to the possibility of connection to the configurable control systems PNOZmulti, PNOZmulti Mini and PNOZmulti 2, the PNOZsigma safety relays are also available.

The digital input module PDP67 F 8DI ION forwards signals from the sensors connected decentrally in the field to various evaluation devices. These can be, for example, PNOZmulti 2, PNOZmulti Mini and PNOZmulti. Up to 64 sensors can be connected.

Industry uses – Wherever decentralisation plays an important role

Our product range: IP67 modules

I/O Net p modules

The multi I/O modules are decentralised input modules which monitor safety functions directly in the field. They can be connected to various evaluation devices such as PNOZmulti or PNOZmulti Mini. Communication with the evaluation device is via a safe data link.

Accessories for IP67 modules

Various accessories are available, such as connection cables and adapters.

Passive junction

Passive junctions optimise your installation and wiring effort by removing the need for additional, cost-intensive hardware. Up to 4 PSENcode units can be connected to any evaluation device (PNOZ X, PNOZsigma) via the passive junction, using M12 connection technology.
