As a Safety Consultant, you will deliver Pilz’s full range of safety services - including consulting, engineering and training - across the complete project lifecycle. From early engagement and risk assessment through to implementation, validation and documentation, you’ll work closely with customers, internal teams and international peers to deliver compliant, best‑practice safety solutions.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safety consulting and engineering services, including: Risk assessments, functional safety design and validation; Programming, testing and commissioning; LOTO services and CE marking
  • Design and implement Pilz hardware‑based safety systems in line with relevant standards and legislation
  • Support and deliver Pilz customer training programs
  • Engage with customers to scope work, prepare quotations and support the sales process
  • Prepare and author technical reports to required accreditation levels
  • Contribute to services revenue, utilisation and project performance targets
  • Travel as required to support customer projects

What You'll Bring

  • Strong technical capability in machine safety and functional safety
  • Experience in industrial automation, safety consulting or engineering
  • Knowledge of Australian and international safety standards and legislation
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills in English Language
  • A customer focused, proactive and accountable mindset
  • Ability to balance technical, commercial and customer requirements

Relevant accreditations (e.g. CMSE®, CEFS, CECE, CESA, RPENG or similar) or a willingness to obtain them are highly regarded.
