• Lead and coordinate key operational areas including logistics, customer service, IT and internal systems
• Partner with the Managing Director to implement strategic initiatives and foster a high-performing culture
• Champion continuous improvement, ensuring our processes are efficient, inclusive, and customer-focused.
• Oversee compliance and safety standards, with a proactive approach to risk management
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with clarity and precision
• Empower and mentor team members, creating a supportive and growth-oriented environment

As the Operations Manager at Pilz, you should be:

• A confident leader with experience in operations, ideally within technical or industrial sectors
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance technical and business priorities.
• High level of organisational and problem‑solving ability with a keen eye for detail and a passion for process improvement
• Comfortable with Quality Management Systems (ISO9001), ERP systems (SAP) and digital tools (M365, PowerBI) that streamline operations to deliver high quality outcomes for our customers
• Someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and brings others along for the journey
• A clear communicator who values collaboration and transparency
• Tertiary qualifications in Business and Engineering, or a related field, are highly regarded
