Duties & Responsibilities

As a Sales and Applications Engineer at Pilz, your responsibilities include:

  • Cultivating strong relationships with our valued clients, understanding their unique business needs, and providing tailored product and solution recommendations that align with their objectives.
  • Proactively identifying new business opportunities through thorough market analysis and leveraging past successes to drive growth.
  • Engaging with customers to grasp their requirements and offering competitive solutions that mutually benefit both parties.
  • Conducting engaging Lunch and Learn sessions to keep clients informed about the latest Pilz products and services.
  • Developing and executing a robust quarterly sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets, while contributing to business forecasting and reporting.
  • Collaborating with internal teams such as inside sales, finance, and logistics to ensure seamless customer experiences in billing and product delivery.
  • Staying abreast of technological advancements and industry standards through continuous learning and participation in internal training programs.
  • Serving as a Safety Ambassador, representing Pilz values in industry forums and networking events, and staying updated on relevant legislation and standards to provide informed guidance to clients.
  • Upholding a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with company policies, occupational health and safety guidelines, and ethical practices.
