Participants familiarize themselves with the benefits of component-based programming on the PSS 4000 automation systsem. In addition, information is provided on the control of functions from the automation system with I/O modules and options for communications via SafetyNETp.
Assumption
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering
- Experience with the setup and maintenance of machinery controlled by PLCs
- Students are required to provide their own computers and PAS4000 software

Simple and versatile configuration even of distributed control systems is illustrated using the software platform PAS4000. Sample exercises for the training system are created and tested.
