The safety bolt PSENbolt consists of a mechanical bolt, handle and various combinations of safety switches, which are based on different operating principles. This removes the need for expensive in-house engineering. The safety bolt meets the highest requirement for protection against defeat and manipulation.

The PSENbolt guarantees secure safety gate monitoring – up to the highest category PL e of EN/ISO 13849-1 / SIL CL 3 of EN/IEC 62061, depending on which sensor is used. The safety bolts PSENbolt can be used in numerous industries and applications. Safety bolt PSENbolt

New PSENbolt versions are now available in combination with the secure mechanical safety gate system PSENmech (PSEN me5). Thanks to integrated guard locking they enable an economical safety gate solution for personal and process protection.

You can choose between standard versions and versions with a key. The latter enable the bolt to be locked in a certain position, thus preventing an unintended restart of the machine, during maintenance for example.

The safety bolt PSENbolt is ideally suited to safety gates that are difficult to adjust, as well as safety gates that are exposed to strong vibration. The safety bolt is also ideal for areas in which safety gates are often opened and closed again. Various safety gate applications can be safeguarded using the safety bolt PSENbolt, depending on the action principle of the applied safety switch:

Mechanical safety switch PSENmech (PSEN me1): The increased extraction force of the PSENmech stops the safety gate being opened unintentionally thanks to process guarding.

Magnetic safety switch PSENmag 1.4: PSENmag offers a cost-effective solution where requirements for protection against manipulation and defeat are less stringent.

Coded safety switch PSENcode: Guarantees maximum manipulation protection within the smallest space requirement by transferring a unique code from the actuator to the switch (key lock principle).
