Pushbutton unit PITgatebox

With the pushbutton unit PITgatebox, you can easily and flexibly control safety gate switches and systems. And there's another added safety factor thanks to the integration of PITreader – user authentication. This enables user permissions to be checked via RFID transponder before the gates are operated. Depending on the qualification and function of the employees, it is possible to ensure that the correct group of people has access to the system.

Commands such as activate, stop or reset your machine can be controlled following successful authentication. Your machinery is thus optimally protected against incorrect operation or even manipulation. Thanks to the slimline design, the robust operating unit is quick and easy to fit to conventional profile systems.

Especially when combined with the safety locking devices PSENmlock and PSENslock, the PITgatebox gives you a one-stop modular safety gate solution tailored to your individual needs – and with integrated authentication if required.

Using individual RFID cards, staff can authenticate themselves via the PITgatebox with integrated PITreader card unit. This guarantees that only authorised staff have access to the plant and can implement commands such as activate, stop or reset the machine.

Access permission is provided via the transponder cards PITreader card, which can be written individually. The company's existing RFID-capable cards can also be used; the familiar PITreader keys can also continue to be used. Thanks to the slimline design, the robust control unit – like all PITgatebox versions – is quick and easy to fit to conventional profile systems.
