Purely software-based solution
Ethernet Powerlink is a software-based Industrial Ethernet solution, which has been designed to integrate automation communication tasks in a standardised, universal format. The real-time protocol is particularly suitable for all mechanical engineering applications.
Powerlink is equally suitable for centralised and decentralised automation concepts. Further features of POWERLINK are full integration of CANopen communication mechanisms, plus a legal property: open source licensing.
