Pilz puts the safe into Making Paper Safely at CPI Conference

Pilz is sponsoring the CPI's Biennial Health & Safety Conference this June and will showcase two new products.

The CPI Biennial Health & Safety Conference is the key event for the latest developments in health and safety in the paper industry. The 2017 conference will take place at Chesford Grange Hotel in Warwickshire on 20-21 June.

Highlights of the two-day conference include a series of seminars covering issues that affect the Paper industry, presentations on a variety of topics within process safety, sharing good practices, health and wellbeing and regulatory issues including the sentencing guidelines as well as exhibits and two breakfast sessions.

PSENopt slim is the latest addition to Pilz range of light curtains and is the smallest on the market, saving space and reducing the cost of the application. The slim line design eliminates dead zones, increasing the level of safety while its cascading function protects against encroachment into and behind the protected area.

With a holding force of 7500 N, the secure safety gate system PSENmlock prevents guards from accidentally opening, offering maximum safety. The switch is particularly suitable for use on machines with a dangerous overrun where safe guard locking up to PL d or PL e is required.
