Our ideal candidate will need detailed product knowledge, an understanding of control technology and applications, have an engineering background, and circa 10 years previous selling experience of safety-related control technology across a broad range of industries e.g. safety relays, safety controllers, safety PLCs, light curtains, interlocks, software. Previous experience of selling machinery safety services would be a distinct advantage. You will also need a proven technical track record of managing the full sales process, and be able to demonstrate your persuasiveness and effectiveness of selling into these industries.
In addition, other activities may include conducting research, responding to sales enquiries, client visits and customer meetings, attending events and exhibitions, managing tender specifications, costing and estimating, and assisting with product launches.
