The Role

Reporting directly to the Indirect Sales Channel Manager, we are seeking an experienced Account Manager – Indirect Sales to join our existing and expanding sales team. Your primary duties will be to work with our existing Distribution network, including joint customer visits, training for new product launches, joint marketing campaigns, product solution and price enquiries and general day-to-day account management.

The Responsibilities

Your expertise, excellent organisational, presentation and communication skills will be used to understand our Distributor’s requirements, by incorporating your technical knowledge into promoting our full range of products and services.  You will generate and deliver product and technical standards presentations, and implement marketing campaigns for existing and new safety solution products, services and training.

The Candidate

As you will need detailed product knowledge and an understanding of technical specifications, our ideal candidate will have an electrical engineering background, ideally with experience in machinery safety.  You will also be a seasoned sales professional of circa 3 years plus, within the automation industry.  You will also have a proven technical track record of managing the full sales process, and be able to demonstrate your persuasiveness and effectiveness of selling into various industries.

In addition, other activities may include planning, attending, delivering or taking part in industry events, working groups, company meetings, exhibitions, seminars and other corporate events as required.

This role is home-based, however national travel and time away from home will be required.
