In accordance with the Machinery Directive (MD) 2006/42/EC, an authorised representative is a person who has received a mandate from the manufacturer to perform on his behalf all or part of the obligations and formalities connected with this directive.
Any natural or legal person established in the European Community can be considered as an authorised person. The basis is a written mandate from the manufacturer.
