Small controllers PNOZmulti 2 – New input module

To monitor pushbuttons and other digital sensors, you can use the input module PNOZ m ES 16DI for standard applications. Configurable in the software tool PNOZmulti Configurator from Version 11.3, 16 digital inputs are available for the connection of pushbuttons and other digital sensors. A maximum of 6 modules can be connected to the base unit PNOZ m B1, making a total of 96 digital inputs. Standard outputs can be monitored using the output module PNOZ m ES 14DO.

That saves costs when automating your machine. You can reduce downtimes by using the integrated diagnostic solution PVIS. If a fault occurs, features such as plain text messages with precise information on the location, clearly defined responsibilities and integrated first fault display ensure that production is restarted quickly.

Safe motion monitoring with PNOZ m EF 1MM2DO

The safe motion monitoring modules for the configurable small controllers PNOZmulti 2 ensure your drives are monitored safely. The module PNOZ m EF 1MM2DO has two safe semiconductor outputs and a cascading input and output. The expansion module monitors one axis in conjunction with a base unit PNOZ m B0 or PNOZ m B1.
You can configure the safe motion monitoring module in the software tool PNOZmulti Configurator from Version 10.13. You create one independent module program (mIQ) for each module for direct control of the safe digital outputs.

  • Fast reaction time to motion events, which are shut down by the outputs in under 12 ms.
  • If set limit values are exceeded this is reported and, in the event of a fault and if detection zones/protected areas are violated, PNOZmulti 2 triggers a safe, reliable reaction.
  • If the whole system switches to a STOP state, a delayed shutdown can be configured.
  • The shutdown can be linked to other modules via the integrated cascading input and output. If a module switches off, modules linked via the cascading are also switched off.
  • All common incremental encoders can be connected using drive-specific connection cable via the industry-compatible Mini I/O interface, which is characterised by particularly high stability.
