Objectives

This advanced level training will introduce to you the processes and standards that are important in the design and evaluation of safety-relevant control systems. This training course addresses how EN ISO 13849-1 (the safety-related control systems standard) is applied in automation and equipment design. In addition, we introduce you to the requirements resulting from the EN IEC 62061 standard.

AS/NZS 4024.1503 is based on ISO 13849-1:2012. This content of this course has been updated to the latest versions of the international standards EN IEC 62061:2021 and the expected 2022 edition of EN ISO 13849-1.
