Energy efficiency and sustainability have an increasingly important role to play in mechanical engineering. For example, the aim is to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions without jeopardising the industry’s competitiveness. More efficient machine processes, for example, mean that safe automation solutions contribute significantly towards greater sustainability within companies, and therefore towards achieving climate goals.
Accidents and machine breakdowns can also be avoided by using safety products. In doing so, companies comply with occupational health and safety requirements. This not only reduces the risk to human and machine, but also prevents production downtimes, which are often associated with high energy and resource consumption.
