Pilz is an expert in safety at machine level and so our activities in Industrial Cyber Security also focus essentially on the machine. We offer our customers specific product solutions to protect against attacks via IT networks, but also against threats from malicious or unintentional changes to the machine through physical access.
Industrial Cyber Security product solutions
Access for authorised persons only!

The best gate safeguard or access control is no help to companies if unauthorised access to your machine is possible via the network. A holistic safety concept is required, which considers both Machinery Safety as well as Industrial Cyber Security. If security gaps should arise, then loss of quality and unplanned machine downtimes are two of the potential scenarios. So it's all the more important to employ security measures to protect plant and machinery in such a way that only authorised personnel have access, and manipulation of the control systems via digital external attacks is prevented.
We offer you a coherent machine access concept, which takes into account not only Machinery Safety, in the sense of safety that protects people, but also Industrial Security, to protect your machine from manipulation or misuse. With this holistic approach, we cover the interface between IT Security and OT Security on the machine, so achieving maximum security for your systems. The basis is the international standard series IEC 62443, the standard for cybersecurity, which focuses on the IT security of “Industrial Automation and Control Systems” (IACS).
