Fully synchronized 7th axis for Stäubli robots

The technical solution of the fully synchronized seventh axis for Stäubli's robotic arms was created thanks to intensive cooperation between PILZ, Stäubli and FeiCut in Czechia

It is a fully synchronous seventh axis controlled via a Stäubli CS9 PLC. This means that with the robotic arm you don't just travel from place to place, but while maintaining high precision, you can, for example, machine a workpiece along its entire length without interrupting the machining process.

This is a significant extension of reach, when the robotic arm is placed on a modular track that can reach a length of several tens of meters.

The PILZ company is a major subcontractor of the inverter and servomotor, which are key to this solution. The supplier of the entire solution is primarily the company FeiCut, but you can also purchase individual parts of the system together with the robot from Stäubli.

Currently, the demo application is available in the application room of the Stäubli company in the city Pardubice in Czechia.
