If you convert your hardware from PNOZmulti / PNOZmulti Mini to PNOZmulti 2, a user-friendly migration tool is available for you to migrate data from the original project.
The assistant will migrate
- hardware configuration
- logic of the project
- test pulse configuration
- equipment IDs
- link modules
- PDP67 modules
- fieldbus module
- virtual I/Os
and then generate a migration report. It will save the result in a new project file and keep your source file untouched.
Even within the PNOZmulti 2 it is possible to migrate from the base unit PNOZ m B0 to B1. There are certain restrictions to observe during migration; you can read about these in the documentation. After installation, a video about the migration assistant is available in the PNOZmulti Configurator under "What’s new?".
