“Pilz Award” recognises suppliers for their outstanding performance - “Success is only possible together”

The automation company Pilz presented the “Pilz Award 2022” in September, to recognise their suppliers: The current prizewinners convinced the judges with their excellent quality level, collaborative partnership and delivery reliability. The current award recognises those suppliers that provided outstanding performance during the Covid-19 pandemic and material shortage.

The awards were presented to: electronic component distributors EBV Elektronik GmbH & Co. KG, Future Electronics, connector manufacturer WCON ELECTRONICS, plastic parts manufacturer Pezet AG, PCB manufacturer STARTEAM Global Germany GmbH, cable manufacturer Dongguan Finecables Co. Ltd., advertising agency Handrych Grafik GmbH, industrial monitor manufacturer Kontron Europe GmbH and IT system house indasys connectivity GmbH.

Delivery quality, delivery reliability and cooperation are the primary basis on which Pilz selected the suppliers. “Success is only possible together, with partners with whom you can cooperate openly and reliably, even in times of crisis”, underlined Thomas Pilz, Managing Partner of Pilz GmbH & Co. KG, at the award ceremony at Pilz in Ostfildern.

“In a variety of sectors, we have worked together to find creative solutions for problems that previously seemed insurmountable. These partners have contributed greatly to the fact that in 2022 – under the most difficult circumstances – we were able to produce and deliver more devices than ever before. This award is our way of saying thank you”, said Ruben Conzelmann, Senior Vice President Production and Logistics at Pilz.

The family business from Ostfildern has been presenting the “Pilz Award” annually since 2006, to recognise its top suppliers for extraordinary commitment and outstanding performance. Pilz had suspended the award in the previous two years due to the Corona virus.
