Pilz at IN.STAND 2022: Safe, efficient retrofit solutions - For greater productivity and safety!

Comprehensive services for efficient maintenance and complete solutions for tailor-made retrofit measures are the focus for Pilz at IN.STAND 2022 (18-19 October) in Stuttgart. On the second day of the exhibition, the “IN.STAND expert forum on maintenance powered by Pilz” offers practical information and covers future issues for efficient maintenance, such as industrial security or digitalisation.

Visitors to IN.STAND will see Pilz's extensive international range of services, including consulting, engineering and training. The package ranges from safety-related assessment in accordance with the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health, plus the creation of a safety design, through to implementation of the retrofit, including any training measures that may subsequently be required. Pilz works with the user to develop the right measures for their machine retrofit.

Overrun measurement live on site
Technical safety devices must be inspected regularly, but particularly after machines have been converted. Pilz takes care of the legally prescribed inspection of safeguards with regard to installation, condition and function. Pilz GmbH & Co. KG, Ostfildern, operates an independent inspection body, accredited by DAkkS in accordance with ISO/IEC 17020. The process for inspecting safeguards is subject to these strict specifications. Safeguards include E-STOPs, safety gates, two-hand control devices as well as optoelectronic protection devices such as light curtains, laser scanners and camera-based systems. Overrun measurements are used to check that specified safety distances correspond to the machine's current condition. At IN.STAND, Pilz experts perform this measurement for visitors live on an eccentric press, which has been converted to the state of the art.

You can attend all of the presentations individually to suit your personal focus. They're free of charge and there's no need to register in advance.
