From autumn 2022, the Pilz “Automation on Tour” series focuses on retrofit solutions for operators - it goes like this: super fit thanks to retrofit

Part 2 of the free Pilz “Automation on Tour” series starts in September and October 2022: In the “Safe operation of plant and machinery” seminar, operators discover how to use appropriate safety-related retrofit solutions to upgrade their machinery to the state of the art, so increasing liability security and machine availability. The seminar will visit 19 cities across Germany – from Hamburg to Weingarten. What's more, the accompanying online format “Automation on Tour – Web compact” will continue to refresh your automation knowledge twice monthly.

In its “Safe operation of plant and machinery” seminar, the automation expert Pilz demonstrates how to implement in practice the current legal requirements from the “Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health”, for the safe use of machinery. Delegates discover the individual steps for converting machinery, based on practical examples. The seminar also considers when the operator becomes the manufacturer, and which of the Machinery Directive's requirements must be met in this case. The seminar is aimed at employers and safety officers, as well as company maintenance engineers and production managers.
“We're delighted to once again be able to visit customers on site, to meet in person for a constructive exchange on current issues of safe automation”, says Tilo Schmidt, Eastern Regional Manager for Pilz Sales and Service Company, Germany. “For part 1 of our “Automation on Tour” series, we were able once again to greet many delegates in person and we're optimistic we'll be able to continue this with part 2 in the autumn.”

Refresh your knowledge online
For anyone who can't be there in person but would still like to stay up to date on safe automation, Pilz offers the online format “Automation on Tour – Web compact”, a twice monthly web seminar on a current topic. Here too, the focus is on high practical relevance and knowledge transfer. The content is presented in compact form, after which there is the opportunity for delegates to talk to the experts directly.
