Risk Assessments: Keeping your machinery compliant and your employees safe
It often takes just one or two factors to cause an accident. If you build or retrofit machinery, a structured risk assessment is a fundamental priority in which to begin designing for safety. The goal of a risk assessment is to identify hazards, analyze the risks, and then apply the appropriate risk reduction measures. This should be done in accordance with the applicable national and/or international standards.
