Internet of Things (IoT)

In the Internet of Things, IoT Intelligent "things" and/or elements and objects communicate with each other via a universal digital network.

Computer as individual devices increasingly disappear, and they are replaced by "intelligent things". They are networked with the internet, so that they communicate independently via the internet and thereby perform tasks for the owner.

Accordingly, it is mostly thanks to the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) as an intelligent localisation technique that objects can identify and to a certain degree control themselves already today. On the objects, specific information is stored as to what is to happen to them. This causes the products to communicate the next working steps to their material flow or production plant. The help of people is no longer necessary.

Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)

The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is a variant of the Internet of Things (IoT) which is used in the industrial sector. The Industrial Internet of Things can be used in many industries and it is finding its way into automation technology. One of the most important aspects is the improvement of business success by intelligent system and more flexible production techniques.

IIoT Gateway

IIoT Gateway Connects the internet of things of industrial environments with cloud services and/or it connects industrial protocols to cloud-based infrastructure.
