Innovations at SPS IPC Drives 2016
Under the motto "We automate. Safely", in Nuremberg this year Pilz will once again be presenting a series of innovations from the fields of sensor, control and drive technology, along with the appropriate diagnostic and visualisation systems and software.
Innovative products for your complete automation solution
In the field of sensor technology we will be exhibiting the new Type 4 light grid PSENopt II and the PSENopt slim with narrow design for Type 2 and 4. They enable access to the production process and provide finger and hand protection, depending on the requirement. The coded safety switch PSENcode can now also be used in a compact design with safety device diagnostics. This allows data to be retrieved simply and remotely over long distances, reducing both service operations and downtimes.
But it's not only in sensor technology that a good overview ensures greater availability. With its new visualisation solution PMIvisu, Pilz is committed to a particularly close relationship between hardware and software. Users of Pilz control solutions can use the new operator terminal to fully operate, diagnose and monitor plants.
We will also be showcasing some innovations in control technology. For larger automation projects and maximum flexibility, up to 13 expansion modules can now be connected to the right-hand side of the base unit PNOZ m B1. With PSSuniversal 2 we will also be exhibiting the next generation of universal remote I/O systems and control systems from Pilz Thanks to technical and mechanical improvements users benefit from time and cost savings.
As an innovation in drive technology Pilz will be exhibiting the new motion control system PMCprimo MC. The scalable motion control solution offers high performance for demanding motion tasks as a stand-alone solution with a 1.3 GHz processor.
Robotics and Industrie 4.0 – Experience it live
In addition to these product innovations, visitors to our stand can experience how human-robot collaboration (HRC) can be implemented safely without using safety fences. What's more, in our smart factory we will also be showing how you can maintain an overview of modular, distributed plant and machinery!
Curious? Then we look forward to your visit in Hall 9, Stand D17.
