The automated guide vehicle (AGV) is equipped with our mobile Pilz service robot PRBT. It can do more than just load or deliver an object at the controlled position - it actually works on the workpiece while travelling: so the journey becomes part of the added value chain!
ROS modules by Pilz
We will be presenting our official robot operating system (ROS) packages for the manipulator module PRBT 6. The great advantage of ROS is that you can still use familiar programming environments. Libraries are available for almost all tasks, such as visualisation and path planning. In this modular approach, different ROS packages can be combined for an application.
There are no translation problems because they are compatible with hardware from different manufacturers: That's a win for flexibility and time saving!
