Pilz takes a look back at 2022

2022 is now drawing to a close; a year that has demanded patience, pragmatism and flexibility. Together with our staff, customers and partners, we have stayed the course and weathered the crises.

Crises are best overcome together.

We are experiencing an unprecedented disruption to the supply chain. This situation can only be managed with a lot of conversations and in close cooperation with manufacturers and distributors. However, all the measures we took were not enough to prevent us also experiencing breakdowns in production.

Covid-19 has also influenced our life in 2022. But in many parts of the world, it was possible to meet face to face again. At exhibitions for example, which could take place again this year and where we could once again meet our customers in person.

We also further expanded our "Pilz digital showroom". So we can offer our customers a virtual tour through our product range at any time.

Recognition for our business

We were delighted at the numerous awards we won in 2022. They are a wonderful recognition of the work we do every day. For example, Pilz won the international Red Dot Design Award in the “Industrial Equipment, Machinery and Automation” category for our modular safety relay myPNOZ.

Another prize we value in particular: in June, our former Managing Director was awarded the “Rudolf Diesel Medal” in the “Most successful innovative achievement” category. It is, as it were, the Nobel prize for industry!
