Discover our trends and innovations for the smart factory of the future from 1. to 5. April 2019 in Hannover! On Stand D17 in Hall 9, Pilz will be presenting innovations from the areas of operating and monitoring, safe sensor technology, I/O systems and services.
Hannover Messe 2019: Innovations for automation of the smart factory
Modular management of Safety and Security is now possible
For the first time in Hannover, we present the innovative PITmode fusion for modular access and authorisation management for Safety and Security. PITmode fusion consists of the reader unit PITreader with RFID technology, an integrated web server and the Safe Evaluation Unit (SEU). The separation of components means that the system can be seamlessly integrated into the design of existing control consoles.
More flexibility thanks to innovative sensor technology
Pilz presents a more flexible and efficient area monitoring with the light, master and slave versions for the PSENscan safety laser scanner. The Pilz safety laser scanners are now also suitable for area guarding of vertical applications – for access protection, for example. In addition, applications can be designed even more flexibly with PSENscan applications. The benefit to you: Less downtimes and greater economy.
Also, see for yourself the coded safety switch PSENcode! Thanks to RFID transponder technology, PSENcode combines maximum manipulation protection with the smallest space requirement. In Hannover, we present the actuator with the lowest design worldwide, with a height of only 3 mm: PSENcode low profile actuator. Users benefit from a higher degree of freedom in the design of the machine – particularly when space is at a premium.
Master Industrie 4.0 with open communication technologies
To guarantee data exchange in networked production, open communication technologies are required, which support the worldwide standard. To do this, Pilz offers the IO-Link master module PSS u2 ES 4 IOL for the remote I/O system PSSuniversal 2. The open, worldwide standardised IO technology in accordance with IEC 61131-9 supports networked production in the spirit of Industrie 4.0. Let our experts in Hannover advise you!
Full service for the USA
Anyone selling machinery into the USA must take care that all specifications are met to ensure that the process for obtaining an operating permit runs smoothly. From now, Pilz uses the new service “IC USA” to support manufacturers and exporters in the compliance with all the specifications on US conformity, right through to certification by local US authorities.
We will be presenting these and further innovations from 1. to 5. April 2019 in Hannover. Keen to find out more? Visit us in Hall 9, Stand D17. We look forward to seeing you!
