VDMA 66413 is a standard format for the universal database of safety-related characteristic values of components or parts of control systems. The library contains characteristic value libraries for functional safety, which can be used to verify the achieved performance level (PL) of the safety functions of plant and machinery in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1.
It is quick and easy to load the data for your products from the library into the safety assessment tool of your choice.
If you update the library from Version 3.2.1 to 3.3.0 in PAScal using the VDMA format, you will need to remove the old version of the library manually in order to avoid conflicts.
Important note: We will no longer offer characteristic value libraries in the Sistema format (.slib), because they are now provided in the uniform format of VDMA 66413.
