Operational safety

How do I test a PNOZ, for example, in accordance with BetrSichV? Is it sufficient to trigger the emergency stop function via an emergency stop switch and to test the switch-off action of the PNOZ?

The industrial safety regulations (BetrSichV) stipulate that the whole safety function must be tested. This means from the sensor to the actuator. The functions monitored via the PNOZ do not need to be retested separately.

The industrial safety regulations also require the test to be carried out by a competent person.
