Applications and features of the emergency stop relay

As well as the safe monitoring of E-STOP, safety gates, light barriers, two-hand control devices and time, a range of special applications are also available, such as speed monitoring or safe brake control. PNOZsigma safety relays for two-hand monitoring

The safety relays PNOZ s6 and PNOZ s6.1 from the PNOZsigma product range can be used in the safe monitoring of two-hand pushbuttons. Both devices meet the requirements of the standard EN 574 for safe two-hand monitoring.

PNOZ s6: Two-hand monitoring Type IIIC. PL e in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 and SIL CL 3 in accordance with IEC 62061

PNOZsigma safety relays for time monitoring

The safety relays PNOZ s5 and PNOZ s9 can be used as timer relays for monitoring E-STOP, safety gate or light curtain. The timer relay PNOZ s5 is a base unit and has delay-on de-energisation. The safety relay PNOZ s9 can be used as a delay-on de-energisation, delay-on energisation, or pulsing timer relay. It can also be used in connection with a base unit for delayed or instantaneous contact expansion.

Contact expansions in the PNOZsigma product range are used to increase the number of available contacts. They are used as expansion devices to increase the number of safety contacts on a base unit.

Two-hand monitoring

Safety relays in the PNOZsigma product range for safe monitoring of two-hand pushbuttons. Two versions are available: Type IIIC and Type IIIA in accordance with EN 574.

Contact expansion modules

Instantaneous contact expansion modules from the PNOZsigma product range, to increase the number of available contacts. These are used as expansion modules for the safety contacts on a base unit. Base units are all safety relays or safety control systems with feedback loop monitoring.
