For safe operation of the new “Zugspitze cable car”, the Doppelmayr/Garaventa Group and Bavarian Zugspitzbahn cable car relied on the automation system PSS 4000 from Pilz. In particular, PSS 4000 ensures safe control and communication between the overall system and the subsystems, such as the drive controller, remote monitoring system or visualisation.
