Pilz provides an orientation for machinery safety

Validation of robot applications to ISO/TS 15066, safe programming to EN ISO 13849 or risk evaluation and analysis to IEC 62061. Anyone who deals with functional safety can easily get entangled in the standards and directives. With its Safety Compendium Pilz is giving design engineers, manufacturers and operators a reliable orientation for the most important machinery safety directives. The 5th version of this standard reference work has now been published.

The fifth edition of the Safety Compendium has been expanded to include the latest issues, such as human-robot collaboration or safety within Industrie 4.0. The standard reference work is based on the comprehensive knowledge and vast experience of its team of writers. In addition to CE marking it covers the most important normative and technical principles for functional safety.
The Safety Compendium is intended as a guide for many questions regarding the safety of man, machine and the environment. It is available on the Pilz website as a PDF in German and English and is free to download.
