Brexit - UKCA mandatory marking for machines postponed

The mandatory UKCA marking for machines will be postponed for one year. It is to apply from 1. January 2023.

On 24. August 2021, the government of the United Kingdom announced an extension of the period for converting the CE marking to the UKCA marking. Therefore, goods and their packaging or accompanying documents that are exported from the EU to the U.K. must be marked with the UKCA marking from 1. January 2023. This time limit was previously set to 1. January 2022. From 1. January 2024, the product/the machine itself or the type label must have the UKCA mark.

We support you when placing the machines and plants on the market in the U.K. and from the U.K., and we offer consultation on all the requirements that result from these changes of mandatory marking.
