PNOZ Multi - Analogue Input Module

In the field of safety technology this has previouly only been possible using programmable control systems. With its analogue input module, the PNOZmulti is particularly suitable for the process engineering sector and burner controls. So now there are even more opportunities to use the multifunctional safety system, which has become established in the widest range of mechanical engineering applications.

The analogue input module provides two independent, safe inputs. With just a few clicks of the mouse in the PNOZmulti configuration tool it is possible to define up to eight limit values for each input. The inputs are suitable for connecting transducers or encoders with standardised 10 V voltage signals or 20 mA current signals. The new module is just 45 mm wide and is inserted to the left of the PNOZmulti base unit. Users benefit from rapid commissioning and reduced wiring.
The multifunctional safety system PNOZmulti is modular and expandable and therefore tailor-made for the respective application. These benefits really come into their own when there are several safety functions to be monitored. The PNOZmulti can also perform standard control functions.
Special feature: with the PNOZmulti, instead of wiring, the user creates his safety circuit on the PC using an intuitive configuration tool. Not only does this save time, but it's so easy it's child's play. The completed configuration is transferred to the base unit via chip card.
Subsequent modifications or adjustments are quick and easy to implement via the PNOZmulti Configurator. So the PNOZmulti is as simple as a PNOZ, but as flexible as a controller.
Pilz has continually expanded the PNOZmulti product range. In addition to the wide range of safety functions the safety relay can also monitor drives for standstill and speed, providing an economical solution for monitoring and controlling presses.
