The Global Account Management (GAM) Team
The GAM Team is a international headquarter function as part of Pilz International Sales department. The team comprises of members located at our offices in Ostfildern, Germany and Cork, Ireland in addition to relevant customer relationship managers in our subsidiaries worldwide. The GAM Team has responsibility for supporting the business development activities and ensuring a superior customer experience for our key customers worldwide. The team activities include but are not limited to:

  • Planning and executing strategic account development
  • Ensuring alignment and consistency in cross country customer approaches
  • Coordinating the development of international agreements and contracts
  • Fostering best practice in account management
  • Providing fluent information sharing and systems to optimise the customer experience

To enable strong development of the GAM team and to satisfy sustained and increasing demands, we have the following open opportunity:

The Role:
Reporting to the GAM Senior Manager, you will have responsibility for coordinating the team systems including reporting and business analysis activities. You will develop business processes and structures in support of our team goals. You will also provide data driven business analysis in support of sales business activities.  You will work together with a team of talented international professionals in a dynamic, challenging and fast paced environment where customer focus is essential, and a non-hierarchical approach is the norm.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creation of account activity reports including current performance and future planning
  • Perform regular analysis on specific accounts, sectors or regions as required
  • Coordinate and maintain the international report structure for Key Accounts
  • Project management, development and improvement of team processes related to our activities
  • Support senior business development managers in the analysis, selection and targeting of business opportunities
  • Support the team in the preparation of customer related proposals for our international customers
  • Participate in the preparation and delivery of business development events, to foster collaboration and synchronization between our sales workforce
  • Participate in other business activities including specific interdepartmental projects as required

Your profile:

You will be self-organised, analytical, result driven and a good communicator - graphical, written and verbal. You will strive for timely completion of activities, with a passion for quality and high attention to detail. You will have the ability to both perform analytical and administrative tasks in an efficient and consistent way to meet deadlines.The ideal candidate may already be in a similar role or currently working as business analyst.

Your experience and skill set should meet the following:

  • Minimum +3 years relevant experience in relevant related post
  • 3rd level qualification in a Business degree or related discipline
  • Previous experience with SAP and/or BW. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Good understanding of the commercial business processes
  • Collaborative, dynamic, self-driven and well-organised individual that enjoy working with others
