Safe Motion for Machinery

Objective

The aim of this course is to give delegates an overview of safely controlling electric motors in machinery safety applications. Focusing on the safety functions described in the standard IEC 61800-5-2 – Adjustable Speed Electrical Power Drive Systems along with the electromechanical set up required when implementing them.
