The Role

Pilz UK are seeking a temporary, full-time Services Administrator for up to 12 months maternity cover. You will work alongside our existing Senior Services Administrator as part of our busy Services Team to provide a variety of administrative tasks, activities and general support to internal colleagues and external customers relating to Consultancy, Training and Engineering services we provide to various clients throughout the UK and Overseas.  

You will be highly organised and proactive individual who provides excellent customer service by ensuring both your internal and external customer requirements are always delivered to a high standard. You will immediately escalate any issues or concerns that may compromise the departmental service, quality of work or standards.

The Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head of Services and Consulting Team Leader with the resourcing schedule of the Services Team  for various projects and training courses
  • Liaise closely with our Services Team regarding projects, project details and associated documentation and reports
  • Review Service quotations against SAP to check for costing and other errors
  • Co-ordinate allocation of peer-to-peer reviews of safety reports
  • Create Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) from standard templates and send approved final reports to customers
  • Deal with customer queries regarding training courses or consulting services following client visits or delayed projects
  • Send customers Credit Application Packs where applicable
  • Use of SAP to input service quotes and orders, weekly working hours for services personnel, and invoicing of work delivered, along with other administration tasks linked to SAP
  • Maintain and update various shared databases, systems and spreadsheets e.g. check and record working hours against projects, reconcile business mileage
  • Provide administrative support for our in-house training courses e.g. set up training room(s), organise refreshments for training courses

The Candidate

Our ideal candidate will be locally based to our Corby HQ (or within easy commuting distance), with excellent customer service, communication, organisational and administrative skills. You should be fully IT competent in the use of Microsoft Office 365 products and ideally SAP. In addition, you will be methodical, attentive to detail and professional, with the ability to work on your own or as part of a team, with the added ability to prioritise workload and adhere to strict deadlines. Your previous work experience would ideally be gained within an engineering/machinery safety environment (although not essential).
