Pilz puts Digital Security at the heart of Industrial Automation at the Tech-Automate Solutions Day

Tech-Automate Solutions Day concludes its 4th edition, cementing its position as one of the leading events in industrial automation in Spain.

Pilz successfully concluded its participation in the 4th edition of Tech-Automate Solutions Day, where it highlighted the importance of digital safety in industrial automation environments. The event, held at the AIMEN Technology Center (Porriño), focused on industrial automation, addressing key challenges such as improving operational efficiency, ensuring machine safety, and increasing competitiveness in demanding industrial sectors.

Co-organized by Pilz, Festo, Rittal, Stemmer Imaging, Troax, and Yaskawa, the event brought together leading companies, automation specialists, and industry executives from a wide range of sectors, who welcomed the opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the vision of industry-leading companies and to discover innovations capable of adding tangible value to their production processes. In this context, Pilz’s participation was marked by its strategic contribution regarding the future of machine safety, which is increasingly linked to digitalization, connectivity, and cybersecurity. 

During the event, in addition to showcasing its industrial security solutions, Pilz participated in the roundtable discussion “Key Technologies That Are Transforming Industrial Automation,” where Daniel Martín, Innovation Manager at Pilz Spain and Portugal, shared his insights on the digitalization of machine safety and highlighted the functionality of the MYZEL Lifecycle Platform for industrial asset management: “MYZEL enables access control, ensures regulatory compliance, and manages machines more efficiently, enhancing safety and guaranteeing productivity.”

The company also participated in the Tech Talks with a presentation titled “IO-Link Safety: The Future of Decentralized Safety in Industry 4.0”, delivered by David Costa, Senior Product Business Development. The presentation highlighted how this technology integrates safety into the protocol itself, providing more detailed and reliable information for decision-making.
