Light beam devices PSENopt slim are suitable on machines where space is at a premium and intervention is required as part of each cycle, such as insertion work, or the infeed and outfeed of material, for example. Thanks to the cascading function with no dead zones, they provide effective protection against encroachment into and behind the protected area, in accordance with IEC 61496-2.

Using the LED display, operators can identify at a glance the main causes responsible for the machine stop. So you can increase the availability of your machine.
PSENopt slim can be installed quickly and simply using fitting aids. A comprehensive range of accessories is also available for PSENopt slim, including deviating mirrors and test rods.
Equipped for all safety-related situations
There are a wide range of unit types to cover the various applications: Design engineers can choose between Type 2 and Type 4 light grids in accordance with EN/IEC 61496-1/-2 as well as corresponding types for finger and hand protection. It is possible to choose between different protected field heights – from 150 mm to 1200 mm.
In conjunction with the safety relay PNOZsigma or the configurable control systems PNOZmulti, for example, PSENopt slim devices offer users a complete, economical solution for machinery safety.
