Susanne Kunschert (Dipl.-Kauffrau) was born in Ostfildern in 1970. She graduated with a degree in business administration from the University of Regensburg. Initially she worked for Dürr AG in the USA and England, before moving to Ernst & Young in Stuttgart-Weilimdorf to work as an Assistant Auditor. Since 2002 she has been Managing Partner of Pilz GmbH & Co. KG. She is responsible for Human Resources, Finance/Controlling, International Sales, Product Management, Marketing and Customer Support.
Susanne Kunschert is a member of the Supervisory Board at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and at Südzucker AG. She is also a member of the Steering Committee “Allianz Industrie 4.0 Baden-Württemberg”, the Business Advisory Board at Baden-Württemberg International (bw-i) and the Federal Government's Advisory Board for Sustainable Development. She is also the Deputy Chair of the Board of VDMA (German Mechanical Engineering Industry Association) Baden-Württemberg and an honorary member of the Association for the Facilitation of Research Transfer (GFFT).
