Safe Stop 2 (SS2)

The motor is braked in a controlled manner. A Safe Operating Stop (SOS) is triggered at standstill. This means that the motor is in closed loop operation; the standstill position is held precisely. Once the safety function has been lifted, the production or machining process can be continued with no loss of precision.
